This past June, it was announced that QRZ was for sale. Having had time to think it all over, and after not having received any serious bids, I've decided to withdraw it from sale and instead continue on as the owner/operator. QRZ was never in any financial difficulty - it was just that I had a bit of the early summer doldrums and thought it might be interesting to move on to something else. Maybe I'm sentimental but I guess that after 8 years it has become a part of me. I'm very happy to have been lucky enough to create QRZ when I did and lately I've been reminded time and time again of how valued and appreciated it is by the worldwide amateur community. I truly appreciate the support I receive from all of my fellow hams, patrons and advertisers. I pledge to all of you to continue to do the best that I can to maintain and grow QRZ in the same tradition that made it what it is today. 73, -fred AA7BQ
