President of the ARRL, Kay Craigie, N3KN to be on Edmond Oklahoma 2m Net

There will be a special net on Thursday, July 26 at 8 PM on K5EOK. The president of the ARRL, Kay Craigie, N3KN will be in OKC for Ham Holiday 2012. Kay will be the main speaker at the Ham Holiday dinner on Friday night at the Biltmore hotel. She will also participate in the ARRL forum on Saturday morning.

The special net will start at 8:00 PM CDT (July 26) on the K5EOK repeater (147.135). EARS net manager Bob, KM5GZ will be net control. After taking check ins – Kay will be introduced and then the net stations can ask questions/comments/etc. with Kay, N3KN.

This special net is an exciting way for us to thank Kay for traveling to Oklahoma . We also would like to show our appreciation for the great work she does for amateur radio.

The special net is open to all radio amateurs and clubs are encouraged to let their members know about the special net.
