    Peggy “Lee” Webb of Indianapolis, IN, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on June 25, 2023 at the age of 73.
    Lee was born on May 9, 1950 in Greencastle, IN to James and Catherine Berry and grew up in Putnamville. Lee attended Purdue University her freshman year where she met Jerry. The two married in 1972 and had one daughter, Allison.
    After moving to St. Joseph, Michigan, Lee ultimately graduated from Lake Michigan College and Western Michigan University Cum Laude. She was a CPA and held various positions in state government retiring as a Field Auditor with Indiana Dept. of Revenue.
    Lee was a member of the Indianapolis Radio (ham) Club with call sign W9PLW. She had an infectious laugh, was a creative thinker, cared deeply, and was a huge supporter of her loved ones’ interests and activities. She enjoyed flowers, shopping and thrift stores, real estate, covered bridges, Eagle Creek Park, traveling - including planning annual trips to Michigan for her family, putting together massive prize tables for family bingo during the holidays, was an avid reader, and most of all she loved her family.
    Lee will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Jerry; daughter, Allison (Kwesi); grandchildren, Gabe, Lily, Maya; siblings Denny (Karen), Alice (Dan); and numerous other family members. Lee was preceded in death by her parents, James and Catherine Berry; siblings James and Mary (John).
    A visitation for Lee will be Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM. All will take place at Crown Hill in the Gothic Chapel, 700 W. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
    Memorial donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/ways-to-give/. For years, Lee filled shoe boxes with gifts and supplies to be mailed to children at Christmas time all around the world.
