I didnt see him listed here as a Silent Key, so I want to add him.

I didnt know the senior Mr Machlan. I met his Son, Paul Jr, when bought some of Paul Sr's ham gear at an estate sale in FL.

I noticed the WA5MET call sign engraved on all of the gear, and asked about the Ham that owned it.

Paul Jr said his Dad was into Ham radio for many years, until he recently passed away.

In addition to the info here at QRZ, and at the ULS database, I was able to find a few references to his call sign in a Google search,
