Very sad to hear the passing of my dear friend and former ARRL Board colleague, Bill Hudzik, W2UDT. Bill was my second introduction to ARRL’s top brass and I always remember his kindness. He was always kind and ready to help. Bill was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and also worked for many years at Johnson and Johnson in New Jersey. Among his many accomplishments, as NNJ Section Manager he was able to obtain an amendment friendly toward amateur radio in the distracted driving law. His knowledge of New Jersey Government was invaluable when dealing with ham radio advocacy in the state. RIP my friend.
