    * PLEASE NOTE: The report "could" contain "Pirate/SLIM" operations or
more likely a "BUSTED CALLSIGN". As always, you never know - "Work
    First Worry Later".

3D2/C, CONWAY REEF. It would seem Dom, 3Z9DX, is planning to activate
Conway Reef (OC-112) as 3D2CR sometime during May or June. QSL via Club-
Log's OQRS or LoTW. No other details are available. Stay tuned.

3DA0, KINGDOM OF ESWATINI. King Mswati III of Swaziland announced on
Wednesday, April 18th, that he was renaming the country "the Kingdom
of eSwatini". See details in OPDX.1362. Gene Spinelli, K5GS, informs
OPDX that operator Pista, HA5AO, has applied for a license in early
April, and it is expected to be issued soon. The requested callsign is
3DA0AO. He plans to be active during the second half of September.
Activity will be on 80-10 meters using CW, RTTY, FT8 and some SSB.
Station equipment includes: Elecraft K3 - KPA 500, vertical antenna,
and N1MM+ for logging. Log search and OQRS will be available at:
    https://www.ha5ao.com
As he did at Lesotho in previous years, Pista continues his humani-
tarian project work by supporting an orphanage. He will deliver school
items and small gifts to the children. More details to follow at a
    later date.

3Y0I BOUVET ISLAND DXPEDITION NEWS (Update/Need Ops!). The following was
announced/posted on the 3Y0I Web page <https://bouvetoya.org/> on May 1st:
After receiving absolutely no single word of reply to our invitation
from the 3Y0Z organizers (we leave that for your own judgement), an
important decision has been taken by our team.
We're now open for applications to join the 3Y0I Bouvet Island Expedi-
    tion...
A full inspection of the expedition vessel by the team in person is
planned after our trip to Pacific. There are 2 reasons to do so. We wish
to avoid any circumstances that wouldn't allow us to put 3Y0I on the air
and we also wish to reduce spendings to minimum. Thanks to proper planning,
total cost of the expedition is already much lower than any other similar
venture announced recently. More savings to come after the inspection...
Our main gear container is already on route to South Africa, where
our journey to Bouvet will begin from.
As said before, we invite experienced operators to join efforts to
activate the 2nd most wanted entity during Antarctic summer. More details
available on request by email at: <dom@rebeldxgroup.com>. Don't forget
to attach your ham radio CV and to ask your boss for 1 month+ vacations.

4L, GEORGIA. Mamuka Kordzakhia, 4L2M, President of the National Associ-
ation Radio Amateurs of Georgia (NARG), will be active during the CQWW

as C8T from Bilene-Macia, Gaza, Mozambique, until May 15th. Activity
will be on 160-6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. They will also operate
on 60m and 2m EME. QSL via ON1DX. QSL via ON1DX. For more details and
    updates, see: http://dxpedition.c8t.cc

mittenly throughout the year. The islands mentioned are:

Don states, "I prefer direct QSLs and return 100%. I will confirm
    electronic QSLs."

from various locations on Reunion Island (AF-016) between May 25th and
June 15th. He will be operating from his family home, and also from beaches
and especially from the mountains because there is a lot of them including
an active volcano. His SOTA aim this year is the tallest FR/RE-001 3070m
ASL. Activity will be on 40-15 meters using CW (possibly), SSB, RTTY,

NA-085. Bruce, K5TEN, will once again activate Dog Island using
the callsign K4D between June 2-9th. Dog Island, Florida, is
an extremely rare IOTA because access is controlled by the 20
or so homeowners on the island. There are no hams on the island,
and the only activations have been done by Bruce over the last
4 years. Access is by permission only and permission by one of
the homeowners. It is only accessible by private charter or
single engine fixed wing aircraft. The airstrip is overgrown
so private charter is the only real choice. There are no streets,
roads, stop signs, trendy cafes, or beach-front bars. If you
need it, you bring it. Activity will be both SSB and CW, on 40-2
meters. Bruce will be checking 10m and 6m often for Sporadic E.

    REQUIRED).

NA-090. (Special Event) Members of the Radioclub Cancun will be active
as 6E5RM between May 23rd and June 1st. Activity is to cele-
brate the 2018 Rally Maya Mexico. However, on May 23rd and
24th, they will be active as 6E5RM/XF3 from Cozumel Island.
Operations are expected to be on 80-6 meters using SSB, RTTY,
FT8 and the satellites. They will be on the air as much time
as possible for the Rally activities.

NA-234. Tim, NL8F, informs OPDX that Yuri/N3QQ and himself are heading
to the "Islands of Four Mountains" group, specifically Kagamil
Island, starting May 23rd through May 26-27th. The operators
were able to secure the boat "Raven Bay" for transport as well
as permission from the wild life refuge on May 2nd. Tim states
that he has been working on this operation to secure authori-
zation for the past five years. The operators will be active
as KL7RRC and plan to have two stations on the air using an
IC-7300 and a SDR Expert Electronics radio into several vertical
antennas of various types as there are no trees. Operations will
be on CW, SSB and FT8, depending on conditions. QSL Manager is
N7RO. Tim mentions that there is no internet connectivity, but
logs will be uploaded after their operation. This island group
was last activated by the Russian Robinson Club (RRC), from the
Aleutian Islands, Alaska, between July 21-27th, 2008, as KL7DX.
It was called the Cleveland Volcano DXpedition. See the KL7DX
DXpedition video on YouTube (10:38 min.) at:

Tim, NL8F, adds: "As always with rare activations costs are
high so any help with donations would be appreciated." For
more details and updates, watch: http://NA-234.com

OC-129. Press, N6SS, is now active as DU6/N6SS from Sibalom, Antique
Province, Panay Island, until May 17th. Activity will be on
80-10 meters using CW and FT8. QSL via his home callsign.

    MULTI-IOTA OPS....

direct. He is looking for sponsors. (PEOPLE SPONSORING BEFORE THE
DXPEDITION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RECEIVE A CARD FOR ALL IOTA’S IF YOU’RE
IN THE LOG) Look for more details to be forthcoming. Also watch:
    https://vkiota.wordpress.com/vk5ce-6
For full stories and QSL information of Craig's past DXpeditions,
    see: https://vkiota.wordpress.com/past-dxpeditions

PLEASE NOTE: Since the Webmasters of the new <www.iota-world.org> have
decided NOT to post or dedicate a Web page to announce upcoming IOTA
operations, PLEASE send your IOTA operations information to the OPDX
and we will post it here in an upcoming bulletin......

REALTIME BAND CONDITIONS WEB SITE <http://www.bandconditions.com>:
The purpose of this experimental Web site is to provide 24-7-365 actual
(REALTIME) band condition information to CW QRPp, QRPe and CW/SSB for
Contesters interested in increasing their scores. It can also be of
benefit to other Radio Amateurs to determine band conditions for Nets
and casual QSO's. This information is NOT based on any software pre-
dictions or any kind of satellite based readings. It is based on a
new Ionospheric sounding method called "HF Ionospheric Interferometry"
which operates very similarly to the PolSAR system used by NASA.
