3B8, MAURITIUS. Jean-Paul, HB9ARY, will once again be active as 3B8HC
from Mauritius (AF-049) between November 4-18th. Activity will be holiday
style on 80-6 meters (focus on 80m), using mainly SSB, but with some slow

Updates are being posted to: http://www.lral.lv/3c0l_3c1l
October 14th (Update): 12:40 GMT SMS from Yuris: Power generator failed.
Were running on 15m band CW with 100 W. That was the maximum power that
the generator could handle. In the evening after 6 PM (local time, which
is GMT+1) hopefully will have mains voltage again. Good news - they got
some tap water. Sun is frying. Soonest upload to Clublog could happen when
they come back from Annobon. There is no Internet on the island. But as
you understand there are bigger challenges than Internet. For example -
    electricity and water :)

REALTIME BAND CONDITIONS WEB SITE <http://www.bandconditions.com>:
The purpose of this experimental Web site is to provide 24-7-365 actual
(REALTIME) band condition information to CW QRPp, QRPe and CW/SSB for
Contesters interested in increasing their scores. It can also be of
benefit to other Radio Amateurs to determine band conditions for Nets
and casual QSO's. This information is NOT based on any software pre-
dictions or any kind of satellite based readings. It is based on a
new Ionospheric sounding method called "HF Ionospheric Interferometry"
which operates very similarly to the PolSAR system used by NASA.
