O.R. "Odie" Heinz, W7HO

Odie Heinz began his ham career in 1955 as an enthusiastic young man who built his own equipment and always strove for the best operating skills. He was first Licensed as K6LBE while living in southern California and in Milford in northern California. Moving to Reno, NV his call became k7KHA. Upgrading to Extra, he became W7HO. Always a top knotch cw operator, he made many friends throughout the world. MS caused him to be less active in the last few years.
Odie passed from us on January 29, 2005. All who were fortunate enough to know him shall greatly miss him.
