You Win! The sticker is on its way. Near the end of the movie, the KQV callsign is visible on the helicopter (it was the KQV "Trafficopter" at the time) as it's landing in the field. Actually, K2V is as close to KQV as we could get (they sound almost the same), the K2Q call was added later in case some of our ops wanted to work from home.
The current best estimate for a QSL route is late November. Sorry for the delay, but this will be decided at the club meeting.
The QSL cards have been ordered from the printer. Instructions and the mailing address have been posted on the K2V and K2Q pages here on QRZ. Be sure to read the instructions for the callsign that you worked, they are different.
QSL cards for K2Q have been designed. If we receive enough requests for a K2Q card to justify having them printed, we will make them available. We will wait until we feel that the bulk of the requests have been received, therefore, if you request a K2Q card, there will be a delay before you receive either a dedicated K2Q card OR a K2V card. Requests for ONLY a K2V card should start to be mailed by November 22, they are on their way from the printer. Many thanks to Lee, K7NM, of photoqsls.com for his assistance and quality work in producing and printing the cards quickly.
The QSL cards for K2V have arrived from the printer and will be mailed out within a few days of our receiving your QSO info and SASE.
