You shouldn't be using that list! Bill WJ5O "retired" as the 10m Beacon Coordinator. His own web site took the link down years ago.

Denny WI5V has been the "new" coordinator for about 4 years.

The list you posted is WAY out of date. I wish the folks at QSL.net would listen to all the requests to update their link (I've sent emails, so has WJ5O and WI5V and they just ignore us)

The correct and up-to-date 10m coordinated beacon list is here:

Oh the memories. Why can't we remember where we lost our glasses? We find them an hour later on top of our heads.

Strange. The qsl.net list says it was updated on 23 October 2020 @ 19:21 UTC.

Wonder who updated it, if W5JO retired? And why are they still posting it, if it's out of date?

And why are they ignoring you Dave?

I'm full of questions -- but thanks for the other list!

Trust me - it's out of date. Annoying, right? :(

Search W7UUU.... I haven't lived in University Place for THREE YEARS.

The WI5V list has my location where I live (Port Orchard) and the beacon actually is. WI5V is the ARRL 10 Meter Beacon coordinator. His list is the ONLY correct list.

Probably someone at QSL casually tries to update it based on the PROPER list (the one approved by the ARRL)

But they're doing a piss poor job of it. I have no idea why they never respond. Didn't respond to W5JO either.

It's annoying and confusing I'm sure for some.

Yeah, definitely strange, but, I realized the pskreporter map is a good indicator of 10m propagation too, so that's another cool tool.

Absolutely! It could even be argued that beacons have become obsolete in many ways....

But they are still fun to SWL and log/QSL - been doing it (both ways) for years. I love to get reception reports from mine :)

I can't wait. Had my Tech ticket for 10 years. Last month got my General ticket, and last week got my Extra ticket. Ordered HF gear this week.

I've heard the stories, and want to be part of it. I won't be on FT8.

    Hi Dave,

I copied your beacon yesterday while driving in Austin, TX.
