NEAR-Fest XXXIV October 13 & 14, 2023 Deerfield, NH https://near-fest.com/ The weather was 55-60° and sunny. Fortunately the weather forecast was consistent the week prior and that helps overall attendance. This year the attendance was close to equal both Friday and Saturday, maybe slightly higher on Friday. Plenty of buyers and sellers. I saw proof younger hams do exist! Overall experience was excellent! NEAR-fest is well managed and welcoming. Thank you Nick @KC1DWH for your efforts in streamlining the "club pass" process and your patience herding ham club cats. Thank you too "Mr. Mike" @W1RC and all of his dedicated crew for providing us with the best hamfest experiences twice a year! The next NEAR-fest is April 26 & 27, 2024.
