    Dr Carl Jelinek PhD, N6VNG, passed away unexpectedly at home in Camarillo, CA 10-11-08.

    Carl was a good person who will be missed by his family and friends. He was also a leader who volunteered his time for communications and was a past officer in his local amateur radio clubs, the Conejo Valley Amateur Radio Club, CVARC and the Ventura County Amateur Radio Society (VCARS).

    Carl enjoyed Field Day each year with the club and there are photos of him participating on the club's web site. www.VCARS.org

    A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, at 3:00 PM
    at Pierce Brothers Griffin Mortuary at 1075 Daily Drive, Camarillo
