    Kenneth Mark Sievers
    January 25, 1965 - September 17, 2021

Kenneth Mark Sievers, “Ken” or “Kenny” to most, went to be with the Lord Friday Sept 17, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 56.

Kenneth was born on January 25th, 1965 in Del Rio, Texas to Carl and Beverly Sievers. He graduated from Del Rio High School in 1983. After his graduation he began to work for Art Nelson for a brief time. During this time he met Dan Peterson with Comfort Tech, and his passion for HVAC blossomed. Ken dedicated 38 years to learning all he could and mentoring others to solve a multitude of technical problems. His passion for perfection and unique sense of humor were qualities rarely found making him such a remarkable man and a great friend to all.

Ken’s passions and hobbies were many. He enjoyed jet skiing at Lake Amistad, traveling in his RV, woodworking in his shop, operating his HAM radios and spending quality time with his family. He was an active and dedicated member of the Del Rio Host Lions Club as well as the lighting and sound engineer at the Paul Poag Theater for the Upstagers. He was always proud to help others and rarely missed an opportunity to serve his community.

Kenneth is survived by his parents Carl and Beverly Sievers of Del Rio, Texas; Daughter Caitlin Willis (Taylor) and grandson Grady of Killeen, Texas; Son Brandon Sievers (Lindsey) of Schertz, Texas; sister Karen Sievers (Shawn Conner) and nephews and niece Cody, Caden and Kamryn Conner of San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Charlie Sheffield and Ester Summers of Del Rio, Texas and longtime partner Kellie Jackson of Del Rio, Texas.

Visitation and memorial will be held Thursday September 23, 2021 from 6-9pm at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home in Del Rio, Texas. A funeral procession is scheduled for Friday September 24, 2021 at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home immediately followed by a graveside service beginning 9 am at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Gary Martin, a longtime family friend will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kenneth’s life.

The family would like to thank everyone who has graciously showed support during this difficult time.

Funeral arrangements are under care and direction of G.W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home, 114 Fletcher Drive, Del Rio, Texas. For more information you may contact us at (830)775-2000 or www.gwcoxmemorialfuneralhome.com
