In celebration of the upcoming centennial of Guglielmo Marconi's first transatlantic wireless transmission, newly formed "WCC Amateur Radio Association" (WA1WCC) will be on the air from 11 January to 19 January, 2003. All operations will emanate from the receiver building of the former WCC, in Chathamport, Massachusetts. At present, CW and SSB ops are planned. CW operating frequencies will be as close to "36" khz above the bottom of the bands as is practicable. (3536, 7036, etc.) The still existing antenna farm at WCC will be utilized, as will other antennae. Look for us, give us a QSO! You might even catch one of the original operators!
