There is no need to tell the regular HF operators about the importance of ionosphere in radio communication. This video is meant mainly for the upcoming hams who are mostly on VHF repeaters and are planning to go for HF. Would like to know from the old timers about how many of you participated in the recent Solar Eclipse QSO party and what were your observations. I wonder how many of you out there are also active members of the HamSCI community of Hams conducting scientific research on radio propagation. I have just joined HamSCI mailing group and started receiving a lot of good information on the mailing list.
