Hmmmm. This would have been much, much more interesting if the Principle Investigator had actually come out publicly the day before and predicted a significant earthquake in the general region.

Unfortunately, looking backwards, just about anything and be made to look like the harbinger of an event. Like the pattern of tea leaves in the bottom of a cup predicting who'll win the Superbowl, but only AFTER the final game. Not too many awards around for HINDSIGHT. Better luck next time!

The O.P. predicted the future after it had become the past. Pretty easy to do. And apparently has done this before. He needs to actually put his approach to the test and show it works in advance prediction, as he's promised.

 

Been there, done that. Read about Edgar Cayce as a pre-teen and was fascinated. Discussed it with fellow geeks, read some more and discovered that he was one of many (and part of a team) running a "mass con" to make a living. Seems to happen all the time.

I've binned his stuff with all of the "Helloz, diz is Microsoft Help Desk, we detect de PC is infhected wiz virus. Give credit card and control to me and I fix" calls I get.

How is it relevant to the "Lamb Wave" topic at all if the methodology does not support advance warning? Given that we already have a world wide web of traditional seismic monitoring stations that can accurately measure and triangulate events in nearly real time, what does it add? Speed of propagation ("Mach 10") seems to be irrelevant - why is it highlighted? It won't significantly affect warning time and ability to prepare.

Where is the value, even if the methodology works to simply detect earthquakes? What is it's useful GOAL?

Those are rational, relevant life affecting questions.
