KN6DWI going paddleboard mobile from Hawaii

This week I'm on vacation in Hawaii, and I think it's the perfect time to use my new (to me) VX-8DR handheld since it's submersible. I will be operating mobile on a stand up paddleboard later today, I will call CQ on 146.520 and monitor 446.000. I am unsure of the time at the moment, but I'm going out for breakfast and will give a time estimate when I get back.

 

I'm preparing to go out right now, I expect to be out from 10:45 to 1:15.

 

Unfortunately, nowhere would rent stand up paddleboards today as it's reportedly too windy. I'll try again tomorrow.

 

Finally found a place that will rent a board. Going out now, will be out there for two hours operating on 146.520.
