    KE4JDW Tom Polk Silent Key

    Tom was a great guy and a good ham. I knew Tom for only a short time but he will be remembered always. I remember well Tom flying around the counrty in an Air Force KC-10 tanker and calling into the 27 machine in Johnston County, NC. He couldn't talk long because he was bringing up every 27 machine across the country. We'll never forget you Tom. 73's my friend.

    I had a lot of fun with Tom when he lived in North Carolina. Tom I will never forget the camping trip to White Top Mountain !! What a blast we had.
    Thanks for your friendship,memories and your service to our Country.
