It is with a heavy heart that I post the announcement of the death of my once close friend Mike H. Culp K7QQP On Wednesday 19, Jan. 2005. Mike was an Extra Class Ham, and a Life Member of ARRL. He was active for many years in the Navy/Marine Corps MARS program (Ex-NNN0GAO/7,for Idaho, among other positions held).He was also a two-way radio repair and broadcast technician. Mike and I worked together at Radio Station KIOV (1450 A.M.) & "sister" station "Pirate Radio" (100.3 F.M.) At the time [1995-96] the studio(KIOV) was located in Payette, Idaho. At the time of his death, he had been in declining health from a number of causes, for a number of years. He is gone from this earth, but not forgotten.
