Ken was my grandfather and had his license from about 54-82.He passed away in 82 and since I am only 13,I never met him. I do know, however, that he was a general and had a multi-elmac af-67 and a pmr-6 reciever. He had a 100 ft tower with the main antenna being a 80 meter beam.He could do about 20 wpm on cw and got on voice quite often too.Ken had a T.V repair shop in Daytona beach and then moved to duffield VA. I have already taken his call as a vanity and are hoping to put his station back upon the air.I would like to know if anybody out there knew him. If so, send me a E-mail at lervin@mounet.com
    thanks,
    John, K4LKP

Hi John, I didn't know your grandfather, but am uplifted by your post. Best of luck to you John and with getting your grandfathers station back up and running. I will be looking forward to working you on the bands! [IMG]
