Wow! Showed up at 7:30 AM and before I could put stuff on my table, people where throwing cash at me. I was out of there by 9 AM with $1,200 in my pocket and just a couple of straight keys I was asking realistic prices for. The guy who bought my Heathkit DX-40/VF1 is going to put it on the air for the vintage contests. He got a great deal! Especially since I bought and put a brand new Peter Dahl custom wound transformer in it. Be on the lookout on ebay for my *mint* Drake 2NT/2C/2CQ. He's going to flip it and probably double his money. Several other items were bought and immediately put on other tables with higher asking prices. My mission was accomplished. I have no more "collectibles", or "vintage", or any type of "boat anchors" in my radio room now. What a relief. It's always a feeding frenzy when I show up at hamfests to sell ham gear.
