The International Space Station will be active over Europe for a School contact on Tuesday 21st March at 13:54 UTC. It will be possible to hear the Astronaut operating NA1SS throughout the British Isles and Europe during this school contact.

The ISS signal on 145.800 MHz FM is very strong and can be received on a scanner or an Amateur handheld rig with just a whip antenna. For more information see

These ISS school contacts provide an ideal opportunity to demonstrate Amateur Radio to friends or work collegues, people are always impressed by the voice of the Astronaut coming out of a handheld radio.
