Import LoTW into QRZ

Import LoTW into QRZ (youtube.com)

I wanted to show you the free feature with QRZ that lets you download contacts from ARRL's Logbook Of The World to QRZ.

If you do any of the ARRL contests, you'll know that they require you to upload your logs to LoTW.

You can pull those down into QRZ for free and without a QRZ XML subscription.

Let me show you how.

Once logged into QRZ, navigate to your Logbook, there are 2 ways to get there:

1. Call sign > My Logbook
2. QRZ Logbook button

Once you're looking at the Logbook list, we're going to take a look at the Settings secondary menu item and the icons, for Display Options and for Import shortcuts.

Settings ... LoTW Settings ... enter your LoTW username and save

Settings ... Import ... will prompt for a LoTW password, and will download/import to QRZ

 

PSA, this works when LoTW is available.

 

yup, poor ARRL folks, hope their Emergency & CoOp (Continuity of Operations) plans are updated after this incident, I'm sure they'll have some lessons learned.

 

I think it is past time for QRZ dot com to look into adding qso migration from CLUB LOG and any of the other loggers used by the major DX peditions.
