I Found THE COOLEST Mobile Ham Radio Shack at HamCation!

I think I may have found THE COOLEST mobile ham radio shack in the parking lot at Orlando HamCation!

This car is LOADED down with several ham radios and antennas that Scott Farrell (KE4WMF) has managed to fit inside of his 2017 Volkswagen Golf GTI, making for an awesome rig for both performance driving and amateur radio fun on the go!

 

Yeah that HAM I have seen his car before (Not in person if I did I would ask for asking price of it)

 

Turned the corner and saw this car and wondered, WTF?? Pretty funny but very nice installation.

Yeah, that car needs a hangar!

 

Imagne a hanger you open it and you see a smart car with the same antenna setup on it.

 

A "Smart Car" or an EV/PHV? smart car is not really that smart of a car to own.

That...is... truly remarkable.

I could see myself doing something like that when I can retire and devote some time to using it. (But with a cheaper used "beater" car.)
