    How to add your FCC Amateur Radio License Badge to your LinkedIn Profile!

    1. Click the “Me” icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage, then “View Profile”.
    2. Click “Add profile section” in the introduction section.
    3. Click Recommended dropdown, then “Add licenses & certifications”.
    4. In the “Add license or certification” pop-up window that appears, enter your information into the fields provided.
    5. Name:
    Amateur Technician Class Operator
    Amateur General Class Operator
    Amateur Extra Class Operator
    6. Issuing Organization:
    Federal Communication Commission
    7. Issued:
    8. Expires:
    9. Credential ID: “Add Your Call Sign”
    10. A list displaying companies will appear as you type in the Issuing organization field. Be sure to select the correct authority from the menu so their logo appears next to the certification on your profile.
    11. Click Save.

    *** If you don’t remember when your Amateur Radio License was issued or when it expires you can look it up on the FCC Amateur License Search Website:
