You certainly won't be able to use the excuse "the bands are dead" or "the band is just horrible" this weekend.
Yeah, but they were weird. Nothing above 20m, but quite a bit of daytime traffic this morning on 80m. 40m was king, and 20m held its own. Anyway, a good weekend. Here, have a look at the camp: http://coyoteswamp.blogspot.com/2020/01/wfd-2020-wrapped-up.html
Sorry it took so long - here's a short video of my Saturday WFD. Hardest I've ever worked for 5 QSOs. hihi 2-1/2 hours hiking with 26% of my body weight and 45 minutes on the air. Family needed me on Sunday (thank goodness) so that's the only time I got for WFD this year. Was still a blast and can't wait for next year. Big thanks and 73 to the ops on the other end - couldn't do it without you! Other club members: Dan, Don and Steve. Dan's pack weighed more than Don's and Steve's put together! Dan's tent at sunset: Sure was fun! Hope to maybe have 6 QSO's next year! LOL! 73, Carl - K0VWA
