I've never knowingly heard Wabun/Kana code on air in all my life!
Wabun code is a form of Morse code used to send Japanese language in kana characters. Unlike International Morse Code, which represents letters of the Latin script, in Wabun each symbol represents a Japanese kana. For this reason, Wabun code is also sometimes called Kana code.

    Mr Hamyagi probably has!

CW is easy, Morse code is hard!

Don't call it anything. Just do it! Not everything has to be labeled.

So, should I not keep communicating with Morse code on mode A1A and switch to CW???

It is both Morse and CW when you transmit. Or should be if you do it properly. o_O

K4AAQ says (about his new callsign): "Not bad syncopation on cw (not that I operate much cw)" . . . We think he meant: "Not bad syncopation on Morse code (not that I operate much Morse code)"

I thought we used International (Continental) code for CW radio operation not Morse code. Morse code has some alphabetic letters that contain a space when sent. Morse was used for landline and railroad telegraph communication. If I am wrong please correct me.
