A new Ham Radio centric auction site will be launched on 1st March 2008. unlike othr auction sites on the Internet www.HamBid.com has 'Wanted Ads' and also a 'Swap shop' feature.

Dealers have been given a Free ads incentive for 1 year whilst all ham posts are completley free.

Worth having a look around 1st March when things kick off!

Sounds good, but if it is in the UK I think the ship costs will kill it for the US.

    Hi Tom,

In the press release it says UK and US, the currency of the sale items can be selected by the user. It also says if it gets busy, both hambid.com and hambid.co.uk are available for them to seperate them in the same way Ebay does regionally.

New US Based Ham Auction Site

    Just released

There is an auction site dedicated to the Amateur Radio enthusiast.

http://www.amateurradioexchange.com just went live on February 10th and is offering 10.00 dollar registration credit for all.

Please visit and list for free "with the credit". Be the first to clear out the radio shack to make room for all the new items that could be found.

    ~~POST REMOVED PER REQUEST~~

But I still have one comment to W8ZOL is that your site is more or less a complete copy of hambid.com.... You might not get to far with that.

It really isn't "dedicated" to the Amateur Radio Enthusiasts as the site also lists doll houses, (unless the house has a Yagi on the roof) and other such stuff.
