I do National Traffic on the DRN7 Net DAILY.. I wish our ARES group and FEMA would get back to this FORM. I can take and or receive traffic on a napkin, in a heart beat, but so many just can't figure it out. Even with practice! ((The ARRL Form IS THE BEST! )) So if you're good at handling traffic please step up. Practice. Download the FSD-218 AND FSD-3 forms and know what HX codes are. VERY IMPORTANT!! Find your Regional Net Coordinator and get in the game. WE WILL BE AND ARE RELIED UPON IN EMERGENCIES. KNOW HOW TO TAKE AND PASS TRAFFIC IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND save lives! It's what we do! 73 ke7drt

It is a shame that you were teaching to proper way to handle that traffic yet you failed to demonstrate the proper use of International Phonetics. That is the recognized use. The DX method is a poor choice. Since you were directing this to new or hams that have never handled traffic before, this was a poor example. When conditions are rough, using whatever comes out of your mouth creates confusion, and makes for a bad example for those listening in to learn. She should have corrected you on that.
