Fingers crossed I can take that weekend for myself and come drool on all the goodies!

 

Went there a few years ago as a guest of N2EST. Gave a talk, "Keeping the Amateur in Amateur Radio" which was well received. Also visited the Bradley Observatory while I was down there...a must see.

We have Wonderful memories of taking the kids over the years. Looking forward to more this year with my daughter, our most recently licensed (passed with the Alford Group testing) and 9 year old son who may be next !

 

I have been involved with the 'fest since it was actually AT Stone Mtn. It has always been a great one

This year I am helping out again, and it is worth driving down from SC to attend!

 

There will be a SOTA/POTA forum sometime on Saturday. If you're interested in portable ops, come join us!
