George A. Tillery AC6HZ SK

My dad George A. Tillery AC6HZ passed away this evening at the Richmond VA medical center. He was 83 years old. Born in Texas in 1934 he spent most of his time in California until his wife passed away last year. He was a US Air Force veteran serving as a radio operator in the UK during the Korean war. Services are pending, burial at Miramar National Cemetery are pending as well.

 

My Sincere Condolences.

My Dad passed in 2012, seems like last week sometimes.

Thanks. He fell ill and had been off the air for about eight years but now I know I'll never work him on CW again.
