Gene Tomer, WI6X (SK)

Gene Tomer, WI6X died after losing his battle with cancer. I knew him for many years, originally meeting him on the Novice CW bands. He was a brilliant man, with a PhD in Math and engineering experience. He fancied 40m CW with his TS-830S and dipole. He helped me with several antenna installations when I was a teen and taught me a lot. We reconnected in 2004, planning antenna installations and shack arrangements. I hope he didn't suffer too much during his final days. We will miss you, Gene. See you in another life, friend.
