On Sunday August 20, 2017, The Fulton Amateur Radio Club will operate a Special Event Station to commemorate the group’s 60th Anniversary.

Club members will set up at Palermo Town Park, half a mile West of the intersection of RT-3 & RT-45, Palermo, NY. We will operate from 14:00 until 22:00 UTC and will attempt to make contact with as many other amateur radio stations as possible sharing information about the club and the City of Fulton. Club callsign W2CXV/60 will be used.

The Fulton Amateur Radio Club was organized on August 26, 1957 by Tom Adams K2DUR, Bill Reynolds K2ZEL and Roger Theiser W2WZN. The approximate frequencies of operation will rotate through 21.350, 18.150, 14.250 and 7.250 Mhz depending on band conditions. Local Amateurs and Shortwave Listeners (SWLs) are encouraged to tune in.
