Hello Operators. Some months ago, Chameleon Antenna asked me if I would like to test the latest version of the EMCOMM series for fixed installations. That is the EMCOMM 3 Base. I accepted and have tested the antenna for about the past 4 months. The antenna was used for everything from HFAPRS, WinLink, other digital modes and SSB, without letting anyone else know what antenna I was using. So, rather than making a "review" video, I thought I might simply let this antenna "review" itself, using FT8 and WSJT-X as the proving grounds. In this video we go through the SWR, my antenna configuration(it is weird), and quite a few FT8 QSOs using the EMCOMM III Base, the Yaesu FT891, and WSJT-x running on a Raspberry Pi. 73 Julian oh8stn Video URL:
