    N4EME Rovers will be activating FM13bx from 7th until 13th May 2019.

6m, 2m Satellites and hopefully 23cm time willing.

This grid was chosen for this years trip based on some of the FFMA guys out west still needing the grid.

On 6m we will be running a 1KW Harris into a minimum of a 7 ele yagi (hoping for a better ant system) with elevation.

RX will obviously be a FCD with SDRC.

We will be operating EME, MS and obviously E's and ground waves.

Last year's trip to FM25 was very successful especially as we also had FT8 E's out to CA and NV.

Thank You to K1JT for his WSJT suite which made 6m EME and FT8 possible for us last year from FM25.

As this is the week of the ARI EME contest and Lances DX-Perdition the moon will obviously be very good.

As previously mentioned the main purpose of this trip is to set up a good station in FM13 for the FFMA operators.

We will however have our usual 2m Rover set up too of a 1.5KW Larcan and 4x12 LFAs with FCD and SDRC RX. Please see N4EME on QRZ.com for pictures of the rover set up last year in FM13.

As FM13 is a very expensive grid to operate, approximately $4500 for travel and accommodation, several FFMA operators were kind enough to make a donation to our club in order to help with some of the accommodation expenses. These include N7NW, K7CW and K5QE. We normally do not accept donations and obviously fund the grids out of our own pockets but having heard that we are down to 2 surviving club members, myself and K3NXH, Hal suggested that we should accept any help that we can. Alas we lost WA3LBI and KB1ESS to SK. So at Hal's suggestion if anyone would like to make a donation to help cover the costs please feel free to do so via Paypal.

Conditions willing we hope that with a EME quality 6m station that we might put a dent in the number of stations looking for FM13 for their FFMA.
