At it’s Orlando meeting in Feb, 2004, the Florida Repeater Council (www.florida-repeaters.org) will review a proposal for changing the Florida 900 Mhz band plan to the revised SERA 900 Mhz plan which is used in much of the Southeast US.  This change will adopt the 25Mhz split for 900 Mhz repeaters while maintaining 12 Mhz splits for existing repeaters.

It will also bring Florida repeaters into a compatible plan with neighboring states.

Please review the plan which can be found at

    http://www.sera.org/900.html

and email your comments to Mike Fletcher
    NI4M at director4@florida-repeaters.org
giving your support and/or opposition and reasoning for same.
Please forward this information to any hams who are interested in 900 MHz repeaters or weak signal work.  Comments will be appreciated from all Southeast US but particularly Florida HAMS.
