I just wanted to shout out to a fella that I didn't know too well who passed on back in December of '13. I found out today from his wife. I was assisting Ed due to his failing health about two months before his passing and we hit it off right away being that we were both hams. His entire station was Heathkit but had most of it in boxes while I was visiting him. Ed was a fellow that loved his wife, loved his cats, and his family, which includes many, many foster kids over the years. A man with a big heart and great, great sense of humor. He passed on too young but I'm certain he's getting pretty good reception where he is now. I'm grateful to have known such a great family.
