    Edward Stanley Gerow, 77, died November 22, 2015, at home in Nashua, NH. He was born on August 3, 1938, in Bangor, Maine, the son the late Stanley and the late Cecelia Gerow.

    He was married to the late Mihrisan Gerow on December 2, 1963, in Turkey. They met during his service in the US Army.

    Ed was a collector of college degrees - he graduated from the University of Maine at Orono, Southern NH University and New Hampshire College. He also had a Doctor of Arts in Genealogy.

    Ed worked for 27 years for Sanders Lockheed in NH as an Engineering and Quality Manager. He also worked for Coastal Broadcasting in Maine at the beginning of his civilian career.

    Ed was a master "tinkerer" and "putterer". He was an amateur ham radio operator, K1HAP -SK, and prolific genealogist. He wrote and published numerous volumes of Gerow family genealogy and served as an officer and trustee for the Huguenot Historical Society and an officer for the Gerow Family Association.

    He enjoyed gardening, avionics, physics, photography, travel, boating, fishing, storytelling, public television and most of all spending time with his family and close friends.

    He is survived by his daughters, Suzan (Dave Irish) Gerow, Sezen (Jay) Gerow-Hanson, Selina (Casey Coleman) Gerow and son, Mert Baybe; granddaughters, Olivia Hanson, Nazirah Gerow and Sera Baybek; his sister-in-law, Hikmet Grumbo and her children, Magda (Grumbo)Platz and her daughter, Miryah Knighton, David Grumbo, and Sandra (Grumbo) (Ken) Superior and their daughter, Ashley; his closest cousin (like a sister), Mary Anne "Jake" Ingles and her husband, Bob "cat" Ingles and their children, Matthew and Laura; and his most dear friends, Fred and Ulku Goff.

    Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at the Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street, Nashua, N.H.. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, December 4, 2015, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment prayers and burial will follow the service at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua. Family and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to Historic Huguenot Street (www.huguenotstreet.org/give) or to NH Public Television (NHPTV) (www.nhptv.org/donate). The DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua has been placed in charge of arrangements.
