Just wanted to let everyone who has ever had a QSO with Ed W7GVE that he is off the air now and living with his daughter in Montana. Ed was my CW mentor for several years and I was always amazed at how many hams Ed knew across the country. If I mentioned a call sign he would almost always know the name connected to that call sign. That happened a lot ! He was very active with the SKCC group and never missed a WES or Sprint. He was always in the running for top SKCC contacts for the monthly BRAG. He always slowed down for the beginner CW operator. I will miss him on the air.
