I love operating portable. Where I live, trees are not common and usually not very tall. I have been using Magnetic LOOP antennas for the past several years with good results. I just got word of some changes to my favorite loop, and I thought I should share.

LNR Precision is now shipping their remote control loop with handheld and LED indicators for end of capacity travel, slow motion and a constant voltage circuit for the battery. All weather resistant.

I have the original version. Manual tuning. It is my favorite antenna unless I have a very strenuous hike ahead and weight matters. Out here your pack starts with 8 to 12 pounds of water, and that is not negotiable. There are lighter loops - but none better than this one.

    Price is $355.00
