David J. Tolassi, W4BHV SK SK Nov. 8, 2016 MYRTLE BEACH, SC - David Joseph Tolassi, formerly of central Vermont, died Nov. 8, 2016. He was born Feb. 19, 1949, to Angelo Tolassi and Norma Carroll Tolassi, He had many interests which included weather, amateur radio, classic cars, fish tanks, bicycle riding and remote control cars, tanks and drones. He was passionate about the weather and loved a good storm to form where he could follow it. He enjoyed amateur radio his entire life and his ham shack included several radios, all his weather equipment and cameras for monitoring his property. Since retirement, he rode bicycles daily and particularly enjoyed riding the beaches and state parks in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. David spent many hours learning how to successfully control drones and created some amazing YouTube videos. David was predeceased by his mother, Norma, his father, Angelo, and his son, Damian. He leaves behind his wife, Jane (Batchelder), his daughter, Damara (Ohlhoff), and three grandchildren, Ivy, Emily and Kyle. He also leaves behind his sister, Jill (Cyr) and her husband, John. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him. May the Lord take him sweetly in His arms and give him the comfort he deserves and deliver him to Eternal Life.
