I only knew Darren, KI7VGX / VK4DCC as a voice on 80M, 3.650 of a Sunday evening, when he would be Net Controller on the Bunya Mountains and District Amcom Net. Two days ago, I was told by another 3.650 operator that he had passed away Thursday afternoon from a Massive Heart attack. Again, I did not know Darren personally, only as a voice on the radio, like so many others I have had the pleasure to meet over the last 27 years. 73 Jay, VK4JK
