Awesome contest for "beginning contesters" because everyone works everyone - no restrictions - work US, work DX - they all count.

Great time to fill in missing states for W.A.S.

And Tech class operators - 10 meters is BOOMING these days, so join in the fun! 10 meters should be PACKED

    :)

My first contest, I can't wait! I still need to decide if I am paper logging and converting or using n1mm software. I should have made my operating position more comfortable. I should have done much more to prepare. Oh well.

As the kids would say, Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

What if you accidentally give the wrong serial number?

I'm not turning in a log, but just realized that I gave a contest station the same serial number as the one I worked before it.

Lots of activity on 10 and 15 meters. Great way to help with my 5 band WAS. Plus some DX!!

First day almost over! I am operating as Single operator, single band (15 meters), QRP, classic OP and have made 38 contacts with very few duplicate prefixes. Going good so far! I've been creating my own dupe sheet and looking at various ways to create and upload cabrillo logs.
