CQ CQ CQ Code talkers - Project “Code talkers on BB35 USS Battleship Texas “

We , NA5DV Battleship Texas Amateur Radio Society , would like to honor WWII Code talkers by putting together a public display about their contribution to the war effort. Since Battleship Texas operated in Pacific war theater we are especially looking for servicemen who served there. We are looking for anybody who personally knows any of these service men we would like to visit and interview. I, AA7EJ, am planning a trip to San Francisco ( I am in Houston) in next month or so and would like to make worthy detour to Navajo land. Please help me with this project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
