    Clifford S. Rosebohm
    September 2, 1934 - June 8, 2018
    It is with great sadness that the family of Clifford S. Rosebohm Sr. announces his sudden passing on June 8, 2018, at the age of 83.

    Clifford was born in Milbank South Dakota September 2nd, 1934.

    Clifford moved with family to Harbor Springs in 1936 and attended the Hedrick School through eighth grade. He attended high school at Harbor Springs High School and left to enter the United States Air Force in April 1952.

    Stationed at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin Texas, during the Koran conflict, he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. While there, he met and married his wife Annette Bukowsky, December 5, 1953. He was honorably discharged in 1956 and brought his wife and family back to Harbor Springs. Clifford completed his educational studies and graduated from Petoskey High School in 1968.

    Clifford worked at Penn-Dixie Cement Plant for 33 years as a control operator/electrician.

    Clifford was well known in the Straits Area Amateur radio club and was past president.

    Clifford is survived by his two daughters, Machel Kowaleski, (Paul), and Charice Baughman, (Al) and his son Clifford Jr. (Renee) his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

    Clifford’s family is planning a memorial service to commemorate his life at Zion Lutheran Church on June 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

    Memorial donations of Clifford can be made to the Straits Area Amateur Radio Club.
