    Christopher Dean Van Camp passed away at home on November 13th, 2022 at 56 years old after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by loved ones at his passing.

    He joins his father (Bruce Van Camp) who predeceased him.

    Chris is survived by his wife (Jori Van Camp), son (Christopher Ruegsegger), grandchildren (Alex, Zakary, and Kaylee), mother (Carol Van Camp), siblings (Matt Van Camp and Vicky Van Camp), neices (Cherie, Cheyna and Victoria), nephews (Matthew and Chance), and dog (Chloe).

    Chris was raised in Payson, Arizona where he graduated from Payson High School and played football and baseball. Chris and his wife, Jori, met in 1986 and got married in 1990. They lived in the Phoenix area throughout their marriage where they raised their son Christopher and grandsons Alexander and Zakary.
    He enjoyed a career in the restaurant business where he worked his way up to becoming a successful manager and ultimately general manager of several companies.

    Chris was a smart, fun loving guy, who will always be remembered for making others laugh, lending a hand, being a respected leader, and a great cook.
    Chris was passionate about amateur radio (ham radio), call sig KJ7NOP, for which he attained several classes of license. He was an active member of radio clubs which kept him busy on a daily basis.

    He was also an expert level scuba diver. Chris enjoyed diving in the Bahamas, Hawaii, and Mexico.
