    Glad to see your nice selection of Ryobi cordless tools at the start. :D

    I would have opted for felt mat material rather than carpet; available in varying thicknesses, easy to cut, no ragged edges or strings to contend with.

    Cutting out circles: ever heard of a compass? Make your own with a length of string tied around the Sharpie pen, center point held in place with a thumbtack.

    Gluing: for the bottom circular piece, apply the glue to the can, and then drop the pad down on top of it. This way you don't smear it down the sides.

    Looks like a fun afternoon project. First I'll have to devour a whole can of Christmas caramel Popcorn though!:eek:

    fish a microwave oven out of the trash, cut off the cord. Makes a nice EMP box with a door.

    Both PA0MHS and myself have explicitly stated why this approach is faulty, as presently posed on this thread.

    Greater care needs to be exercised by those who post 'news' to either manifest technical accuracy in their 'news', or, lacking that, be willing to self correct within the comment section.

    Car is struck multiple times with close to 1M VAC . Some hits last several seconds.
    Camera never studders, car starts and drives off.

    If the lunatics start trading giant flashcubes, worry over a BoFang should be the least of the worries you will have.
