    A sad day!

While not having met any of the four personally, I did work them many times in many contests, either from their homes or from C6. My heartfelt condolences to their families. We all grieve for them and will miss them terribly.

    WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

I was shocked to first hear the news and now it has sank in it reminds me that doing dxpeditions can be dangerous no matter where or how.
To the close friends and family I express my deepest condolences.

I would suggest a minutes silence just prior to the contest this weekend would be very appropriate.

    regards Bill Horner VK4FW

    C6APR

I'm in total shock. I live just three miles from W3PP, and have been to his qth many times. Dallas was a great friend and mentor. He got me involved in PVRC and contesting.

He always took the time to explain things to a new ham. You know how you can go to a large store looking for widget? Dallas was the type who knew what you were talking about, could help you find it by taking you to where it was, explained how to use it, loaned you one so you didn't have to buy it, and then came to your house to help install it, and asked nothing in return.

    I'll miss you Dallas.

My condolences to the family and friends of the great hams lost in this tragic accident.

It seems as though the past couple of weeks has been filled with tragedies associated in one way or another with amateur radio. I did not know any of the C6APR team personally, but worked them many times over the years.

A great loss to the ham community. My thoughts and prayers go out to their family and friends.
