Mark Conner writes "Nebraska Stratospheric Amateur Radio (NSTAR) will launch an amateur radio balloon payload on Sunday, June 24th at 0800 CDT (1300 UTC) from Treynor IA (about 15 miles east of Omaha NE). APRS will be on 144.39 MHz with callsign N9XTN-11 and a simplex repeater on 446.10 MHz. Total flight time will be about 2.5 hours, and the simplex repeater should be audible for a range of about 350 miles at its peak altitude of about 75,000 ft.
