John Massa writes "I have recently been looking through the amateur radio auctions at YAHOO and I have discovered most of the equipment listed is CB stuff (I resist using radio equipment) and a large percentage of the stuff is illegal. I have e-mailed copies of the obviously illegal stuff the FCC and I have e-mailed YAHOO about the illegal activity on their auction.

We amateurs are working hard to keep our frequency spectrum free of illegal and unlicensed activity. It saddens me to see this stuff being sold and used by unscrupulous CB'ers because there are a lot of people out there that believe CB and HAM radio is on in the same.

    I have several suggestions:

1st let the FCC know when we see illegal equipment being sold.

2nd notify the hosting auction of the illegal activity

3rd encourage legal CB radio usage there is a place for CB

4th and the most important educated the general population that HAM is not another form or name of CB
    "
